Dumper Rolls Over Migrant Labours,15 Die on Spot, 4 Hospitalised

PQR, January 19: A devastating accident took place in the wee hours of this morning near PQR district’s Q area of QR by NH6 when a P-bound dumper collided directly with a tractor loaded with sugarcane and lost its balance and cost 15 lives on the spot on Tuesday.
“Around 5 am today morning the dumper’s driver lost his control over it, in course of over speed, and hit hard to the tractor and ran over road-sided sleeping migrant workers.” – said a local.17 migrant workers, of 4 families from neighbouring state R, had been sleeping beside the highway as regular at night as they started to work on a road faced private construction project there in December last year. 13 of them along with two children (7, 9) died on the spot and later two joined the majority on the way to the hospital. Locals managed to bring the rest of the wounded to the nearby State General Hospital where the driver and the helper of the dumper and two labours are admitted. “All of them are in fatal condition” said a doctor.
“We have filed a suo moto complaint against the dumper’s owner and are investigating further on and looking for the constructors of the project” – Mr XX, SI, PQ Police Station. Later the district magistrate, Ms XY visited the spot. The CM and the governor flooded their condolences on social platforms and prayed for the departed souls.
